Ayla is a shadow spirit, meaning she is a spirit of Darkness rather than light. She grew up in a tribe of evil beings, but abandoned that tribe and went out to fight for what was right instead. She wields the elements of the Blood Moon and Darkness to great effect, capable of using them for many things.
Despite her origins and elements however, she isn't evil. Just territorial and defensive of those she cares for. She's an absolute sweetheart and has a heart of gold (figuratively), but doesn't take kindly to those who threaten her or those she cares about.
