Description

Legends tell of three guardians that protected Nibel's three Elements, each one harnessing their respective Elements' power and using it to defend their territory.

Iska is one guardian; a gumon from the Northern District of the West Mountains that had been blessed by the Spirit Tree and was granted status as the Guardian of the Element of Winds. She was a free-spirited soul that would ride the winds on her windsurfing kite and was a daredevil, performing daring stunts through the tight crevices and sharp peaks of the West Mountains that would soon come to be called the Forlorn Ruins.

The current generation of Nibellian residents aren't sure if she was a real gumon or is a myth, but the old tales found in the libraries of the Forlorn Ruins often treat her like she was a real person that had been given a demigod status.

There are rumors of treasure seekers and dungeon explorers who have claimed to have seen Iska's spirit. Two creatures have sworn they were saved by her when monsters had cornered them, claiming they saw the wind carrying intact kites to distract the monsters as they made their escape. Of course, these are nothing but rumors, and could be passed as a made up tale to keep Iska's legend alive.
