Description
.Core Traits and Abilities
- Singing & Socializing: She is skilled at singing, yet only performs when alone with Sylvan. If her voice is heard by others, she will blush furiously and cover her face with bubbles out of shyness. She yearns for social interaction, but often freezes up due to overthinking others' opinions. Should any other spirit touch her body, she will instinctively try to flee.
- Bubble-related Powers: As a bubble-weaver, she can create bubbles of all sizes and shapes, and even lie atop them without popping the fragile spheres. Wherever she goes, trails of bubbles or puddles of water are left behind. She often shoots ordinary bubbles or squirts water at animals and sprites passing by the water source of her habitat, drenching them—not out of mischief, but to draw attention. However, crippled by self-doubt, she always hides right after the act, which over time spawned the local legend of a "water spirit" haunting the area.
- Mobility: She is an extremely fast swimmer in water, but on land, old wounds restrict her to a light jog at best. Jumping and climbing are nearly impossible for her.
- Healing & Protection: She has a knack for caring for others. Whenever she encounters injured animals or sprites by the water, she will offer help without hesitation. The bubbles she creates are infused with luminous power that can alleviate pain and heal wounds, after which she will shyly dart back into the water. She grows more comfortable around spirits she has spent a long time with, going out of her way to assist them, and rejoices in their recovery even if she gets nothing in return.
- Corruption Resistance: She is irreconcilably opposed to the concept of "corruption", and will attack corrupted creatures without hesitation. For beings not fully consumed by corruption, though she cannot cure them, she still strives to provide whatever aid she can.
II. Past and Bond (with Sylvan)
- Loneliness and Sylvan’s Arrival: Prolonged loneliness has left her prone to panic and despair when alone. Sylvan’s presence has filled this void in her life, and she regards Sylvan as "the only family she has left after surviving the abyss". She has no memory of her origins, nor has she ever heard of the Spirit Tree.
- Sylvan’s Essence and the Origin of Their Bond: Sylvan was a presence she suddenly sensed amid endless solitude. Back then, Sylvan was the luminous core of a withering young Spirit Tree, which had left its parent tree to seek help, only to end up in mortal danger as its light faded away. Just as Sylvan was about to plummet into the scorching magma of Mount Dig and dissipate, the little sprite grabbed it and pulled it to safety—but in doing so, she suffered severe injuries to her right hand and left foot. Since then, Sylvan has survived by drawing on her light, while she has relied on Sylvan’s companionship, turning the two into inseparable friends and family.
- Mutual Dependence of the Bond: Sylvan can unlock the luminous power that her injuries have made her unable to access on her own. If the two are separated by too great a distance, Sylvan will lose its radiance, and she will be unable to wield her light-based abilities. Her bubbles will lose their healing properties, and she will no longer be able to suppress the searing pain from her old wounds.
III. Transformation and Subsequent State
- Becoming a Walking Spirit Tree: On the brink of death, she was revived by the power of other Spirit Trees. Her old wounds gradually turned to wood, and she became a Walking Spirit Tree.
- Influence of Luminance: After becoming a Spirit Tree, the light she emits instinctively makes nearby animals and sprites feel safe and at ease. Yet no one has ever been able to approach the source of this light—she always hears them coming and hides deep beneath the water before they can get close.
- Born near a volcano, she has a naturally high body temperature and is highly resistant to cold. She remains unfazed even in ice caves, but is extremely sensitive to heat. When exposed to high temperatures, the camouflage bubbles covering her body will multiply in large numbers.
